Milan - Giants AC Milan have said they will sign English star midfielder David Beckham in January offering him a five-month contract until the end of the Serie A season, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported Wednesday.

"We are talking with his agent," AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said. "I think he will join us for some months on a loan basis. The team won't change, but Beckham is a particular addition."

Beckham, 33, recently closed his first season in the United States with Los Angeles Galaxy, where he played 25 games, scoring five goals. His previous clubs were Manchester United and Real Madrid.
