Anthony scored 22 points - including the go-ahead basket in the final minute - and the Nuggets recovered after wasting a 26-point third-quarter lead Saturday night for a 105-100 home victory over the New Orleans Hornets.
Reserve JR Smith added 17 points for Denver, which averted an ugly loss for the second time in as many nights. On Friday, the Nuggets escaped league-worst Oklahoma City with a 122-120 win when Anthony drilled a 3-pointer with 0.1 seconds remaining.

Los Angeles - Tired of being bullied, the Memphis Grizzlies came out of hibernation and put a bear hug on the Dallas Mavericks' dominance.
O.J. Mayo scored 18 of his 21 points in the second half, while fellow rookie Marc Gasol of Spain added 19 and the Grizzlies ended a 13-game losing streak to the Mavericks with a 102-82 home-court victory on Sunday.
The Grizzlies earned their first win over the Mavericks since November 26, 2005 and stopped a four-game slide overall.

Perth, Australia - Lleyton Hewitt and partner Casey Dellacqua both made a successful injury comeback at the Hopman Cup on Monday as Australia went down to Germany 2-1 at the eight-nation team event.
Hewitt made a resounding return after summer hip surgery, winning his singles over Nicolas Kiefer 6-7 (6-8), 6-3, 6-2.
Dellacqua, who had to change her serve after suffering a shoulder problem in 2008, lost her match to teenaged Sabine Lisicki 4-6, 6-2, 7-5.
