Music website iLike launched new features, including full song playback and a self-serve advertising platform. The company now claims 30 million users and seeks to enable them to listen full songs instead of 30 second samples as was the case until now. Rapper DMX is behind bars once again
after being detained by the police in Phoenix,
Arizona at a shopping mall
Saturday on suspicion of giving false information to a hospital in order to avoid
paying for medical expenses.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa
County said that when DMX, born under the name of Earl Simmons, went to the Mayo
Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, in April, he used the false name Troy Jones, a
fake Social Security number and did not pay a $7,500 bill. The Maricopa County
Sheriff’s Office had been investigating the case before 37-year old DMX was
arrested on May 9...

The troubled husband of troubled British singer Amy Winehouse is to serve 27 months in prison for attacking the 36-year-old landlord of a pub in the trendy district of Hoxton in east London in June 2006. The 26-year-old Fielder-Civil has been in jail since November 2007, awaiting trial, thus he already served some nine months on remand, so in theory he could be released in another four and a half months, based on an assumption of good behavior. He faced up to five years in prison for his primary assault charge, as well as additional prison time for the perverting the course of justice...
