While the long-awaited 3G iPhone is still nothing moer than
a rumor, other cell phone makers are already updating their “iPhone killers.”
In a move similar to what happened last year, HTC unveiled HTC Touch Diamond,
the new 3G version of its HTC Touch.
Lat year, HTC Touch was unveiled on June 4, a month ahead of

As to technical specs, HTC Touch Diamond offers a 2.8” LCD

British operator Vodafone announced today that it will sell
Apple’s iPhone in ten countries. The world’s largest mobile operator will be
responsible for distributing the iPhone in Australia,
the Czech Republic,
Egypt, Greece, Italy,
India, Portugal, New

and Turkey.
The move could be interpreted as a clear sign that the 3G
iPhone is underway. Last year it was reported that Apple and Vodafone failed to
nail a deal regarding the iPhone distribution in Europe
due to the lack of 3G capabilities.
At the time, Arun Sarin, Vodafone’s CEO, was quoted...

U.K.-based Vodafone and Telecom Italia will be distributing the iPhone
simultaneously. There are also calls to cut the iPhone price in half,
considering its users usually spend a lot on their phone bills and they
can easily...

Microsoft has quickly shot down rumors that it plans to embed content filtering in its Zune gadgets. Several Internet news publications, including The New York Times, have said that Microsoft is going to implement a so-called "copyright cop" technology into its Zunes which would prevent playback of unauthorized copies of video files on them. They deduced this from NBC's statements a while back, when they cut off ties with iTunes. NBC was complaining at the time that Apple wanted all TV shows to have an identical wholesale price so that it can sell all of them at $1.99, while the...

After the announcement made Monday about the 800 downloadable episodes, including popular titles such as COMEDY CENTRAL’s “South Park,” MTV’s “The Hills,” NBC’s “The Office” or “Heroes,” SCI FI Channel’s “Battlestar Galactica,” Starz’s “Ghost in the Shell,” UFC’s “The Ultimate Fighter” or VH1’s “Rock of Love,” which will be available for $1,99 each, a new feature for the software might further boost the...
