Research In
Motion (RIM) has revealed some much expected information concerning their new
gadget the BlackBerry Storm, which promises to sweep users off their feet and
also make the iPhone lose face with customers.
The device,
with an almost all-touch interface, comes fitted with a big surprise button: its
own screen, which can itself be clicked in order to confirm an action.

Two years after buying the largest video-sharing site,
Google still has little idea how to turn the trillions of page views into a
cash cow.
One by one, Google has tried various models, from displaying
AdSense ads in the pages to running in-video ads, but none of these tryouts
seem to solve the problem.
Now, Google has come up with a new plan. By enrolling the
biggest music retailer in the US,
namely Apple’s iTunes and the biggest online retailer, namely Amazon, Google is
ready to try a new system: click and buy.

In an invitation sent to journalists, the Cupertino-based
company has announced a new event, which is scheduled for October 14.
The difference is that this time the invitation is not just
a cryptic slogan, but it contains a clear clue about what we should expect.
The invitation reads "The spotlight turns to notebooks"

GeoEye-1 is a satellite launched on September 6th which has the main purpose to provide Google Maps with high resolution pictures and to help cartographers create better, more precise maps.
