Apple has recently sent invitations to some members of the
media for an event titled only “Let’s Rock” set for September 9th, San Francisco time. Apple,
who is known for such bombastic advertising stratagems, has in the past
launched such events that turned out to be product presentations. One thing is
discernable from the invitation though: the event is going to be about iPods.
Speculation is rampant among journalists as to exactly what
new products will be unveiled at the event, but some recurring themes appear

You may know iRobot’s because of this little bugger. What you
may not know is that iRobot produces not only cleaning bots, but also military

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on
Thursday that they are working with Sony to pull a number of 73,000 TZ series
VAIO laptops from the market because of overheating problems and possible burn
danger.
The agency is quoted as saying that “Irregularly positioned
wires near the computer's hinge and/or a dislodged screw inside the hinge can
cause a short circuit and overheating. This poses a burn hazard to consumers.”
