The matter between Viacom and Google’s YouTube goes beyond
the copyright infringement accusations, as a court order compels Google to hand
over user activity data and raises serious privacy issues.
According to the court order, Viacom gets the right to
access usernames, IP addresses and videos watched by YouTube users, in order to
prove that videos that infringe copyrights are the most watched, and that
YouTube is a website that deliberately supports copyright infringement.

Microsoft has launched the long-rumored subscription service to an all-in-one software suite, which combines Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007, Office Live Workspace, Windows Live OneCare, Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Messenger, and Windows Live Photo Gallery. A new study released by Net Applications have shown that
Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is starting to lose market share in favor of its
two biggest competitors, Mozilla’s Firefox, and Apple’s Safari. But the Redmond
based company can still take pride in the fact that about 1.1 billion people,
the approximate equivalent of a 73.01 percent market share, still use IE for
their internet browsing experience.

On Sunday, Microsoft officials announced the
company’s plans to acquire the remaining 50.1% of MSN Israel Ltd. from its
partner, Internet Gold Ltd.
MSN Israel was founded back in 2000 as part of
Microsoft’s portal network, operating in no less than 44 countries.
According to Danny Yamin, general manager of
Microsoft Israel, the upcoming deal will have both companies deepen their
"impact on the Israeli market." MSN Israel brought in about 3% of
