It seems you can’t escape computer viruses not even on the
International Space Station. NASA announced that several laptops that were
carried to the ISS in July were infected with a virus known as Gammima.AG, and
also admitted that such infections have happened before.
“This is not the first time we have had a worm or a virus,”
NASA spokesman Kelly Humphries said. “It’s not a frequent occurrence, but this

The virus, which copies itself onto computers in order to
steal log-on information for online games, was

We all know what computer viruses are capable of these days,

The incident was first reported by space news website SpaceRef.com, according to which the virus was never a threat to any of the computers on the
ISS, and had no adverse effects on any of the operations on the International
Space Station....

Microsoft released Internet Explorer Beta 2 this week, in a
clear attempt to catch up with some of the rival browsers, such as Firefox 3,

faster experience.
So what do we make of this release? First of all, unlike
Beta 1, which was intended for developers, Beta 2 aims at a much wider audience.
According to Microsoft, IE8 is based on three main areas of interest: everyday
browsing, safety, and the platform.
Among the first...

The U.S. District Court in the Northern District of
California dismissed the copyright infringement case filed by an adult
entertainment company, Io Group, against video service website Veoh.
The legal dispute started in 2006, when Io Group accused Veoh
of uploading copyrighted material to its website. The adult-entertainment
company argued that Veoh did not take the necessary measures to prevent
copyrighted material from reaching its website.
However, Veoh defended its position under the “safe harbor”
protections of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA), which protects...
