Cablevision has obtained a major victory against film
studios and television networks, after the United States Court of Appeals for
the Second Circuit in New York ruled that the services offered by Cablevision

Last month, a vulnerability flaw identified in the Internet’s
address system revealed how easy it would be for hackers to redirect visitors
to malicious websites, as well as get their hands on e-mail messages, secure

of products designed to work with DNS.
The Domain Name System is considered to be the Internet’s

addresses. It is an essential component of the...

The appeal overturns a previous decision by a US District Court taken last year. However, the MPAA will not give up without taking the fight to the bitter end. Hopefully, the...

A "leaked" email from Steve Jobs to the MobileMe team shows that Apple's boss has finally and officially understood what everybody else already knew: Apple is incapable for now of running a MobileMe service, as it is incapable to provide critical security patches in a timely manner (see DNS flaw). In the email, Steve Jobs says that MobileMe clearly needed more time and testing (doh!), it should have been launched gradually (syncing first, a month later Mail and another month after that Calendar), and it was a mistake to launch MobileMe at the same time as iPhone 3G, iPhone 2.0...
