Nebraska Beef Ltd decided to expand its voluntary recall to 5.3 million pounds, representing all the meat the company produced between May 16 and June 26, a statement released by the company on Thursday read. Originally, the company recalled the beef sent to Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas. On Thursday, it did not specify whether the beef now being recalled went to additional states. Firefox 3 has entered today in the Guiness Book of World Records as the most downloaded software in 24 hours. As you might remember, in its first day of release, Firefox 3 was downloaded for 8,002,530 times. Mozilla has removed form the server logs the duplicates and incomplete downloads and then has submitted the documentation Guinness World Records, which announced today its approval. Thursday night, with all those fireworks in the sky there
will be also a bit of the cremated remains of Meredith Smith. According to The
Associated Press, the organizers of a local fireworks show thought this was the
best way to pay tribute to the man who ran the annual event for 40 years. Meredith
Smith died at the age of 74, in February.
Kevin Moss, a friend of the family said this was indeed the
best way to pay tribute.
“I can't think of a better way,” he said, according to The

On Saturday, Kent Couch, 48, hopes to fly 300 miles in his original
flying device: a lawn chaird lifted by helium balloons.
Couch is already what we might call an expert in clustering ballooning
and this is his third flight.
This time Kent Couch hopes to break his previous record, by
flying from his gas station from Bend, Oregon to Boise,
Idaho. Last year, on his second
flight, Kent Couch has managed to fly 193 miles.
