When it comes to the elections, at least there’s something else to talk about, other than Bristol Palin’s baby, baby’s father and baby’s gift basket from Jamie Lynn Spears. The new headlines regarding Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin are still not about politics, but they do have a rather legal aspect to them: the unapproved use of a song to make things less tensed for the Republicans. Ann and Nancy Wilson, also known as the singing duo Heart, found themselves caught in something they say doesn’t reflect their political beliefs. This September
may come with four hurricanes, including two that will become major
storms, according to a report co-authored by Colorado State University
researcher Philip J. Klotzbach and his former mentor, professor emeritus
William M. Gray. “Well
above-average activity has occurred so far during the 2008 hurricane season,”
the report said. “We expect a very active September.” With another three months of the

London - An art gallery in Britain which exhibited a statue of Jesus Christ with an erection was taken to court by a devout Christian Tuesday who said she was offended by the work and argued that the gallery would "not have dared" to portray Mohammed, let alone in that way.
The artwork was part of an exhibition at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead, near the north-eastern city of Newcastle, which featured dozens of plaster figures including Mickey Mouse, ET, and Jesus - all with erections.
The items were shown in a presentation a year ago of works by...

Lieberman said Tuesday night that it was time to put partisan politics aside, touted McCain's record as an independent and argued the Arizona senator was the presidential candidate best able to bring change to Washington.
"What, after all, is a Democrat like me doing at a Republican convention like...

St Paul, Minnesota/Washington - US President George W Bush called Republican presidential hopeful John McCain the candidate who "understands the lessons" of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, in an address by satellite to the Republican Party's nominating convention on Tuesday.
Bush, whose low approval ratings have kept him from playing a larger role in the McCain campaign to date, was originally to appear in person Monday at the St Paul, Minnesota convention. He cancelled the visit due to Hurricane Gustav's arrival on the Gulf Coast.
Bush characterized McCain as...
