"Medium" star Patricia Arquette has filed for divorce from her husband of more than two years, actor Thomas Jane, citing "irreconcilable differences," according to court records made public on Monday.
After marrying Jane in June 2006, Arquette does not want a penny from her former 39-year-old husband and refused to file for spousal support. She also requested that the court refused Jane spousal support from her behalf. The actress is represented by power-lawyer Laura Wasser, who has also done the dirty work for the case of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, Angelina Jolie, Keifer Sutherland, Stevie Wonder and Nick Lachey.
Arquette, who won an Emmy for her performance in the NBC show "Medium," is seeking custody of their 5-year-old daughter, Harlow, with visitation rights for father Jane, who starred in a couple episodes of "Medium" and in the 2004 movie version of "The Punisher" comic book.
The Chicago-born actress was married to "National Treasure" star Nicolas Cage from 1995 to 2001 and also has a 19-year-old son, Enzo, with musician Paul Rossi.
The star of TV's “Medium”, whose sister is Rosanna Arquette and brother is David Arquette husband of Courteney Cox Arquette, also starred in the off beat movies like “True Romance”and “Lost Highway”.
