The Jonas Brothers Will Welcome the New Year for ABC
The Jonas Brothers accompanied by Taylor Swift and Lionel Richie will welcome 2009 for ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” They will join Clark in New York together with his co-host Ryan Seacrest and will ring the bells for 2009 from Times Square.

The reporter sent to feel the atmosphere on top of New York City starting with 2009 will be Kellie Pickler. Stars like Natasha Bedingfield, Jesse McCartney, the Pussycat Dolls and Fall Out Boy will perform during the Hollywood Party segments. These periods of the show will be hosted by Fergie, as the network announced.The big show will begin on December 31, at 10 p.m.

American boy band The Jonas Brothers gained their popularity mostly from the Disney Channel. Kevin, Joe and Nick have released three albums until now: “It’s About Time,” (2006), “Jonas Brothers,” (2007) and “A Little Bit Longer” (2008).

The band collaborated with Miley Cyrus on her 3D Concert Film, “Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert,” and their Disney Chanel Original Series called “J.O.N.A.S!” will debut on Disney Channel during the summer of 2009.

Country singer Taylor Swift once dated Joe Jonas, from The Jonas Brothers and she even wrote a song about him, “Forever & Always.” She signed for Big Machine Records label in 2006 and made her debut with the single entitled “Tim McGraw.”

Her latest album, “Fearless,” contains thirteen songs with the one about the love Swift had once felt for Joe Jonas. Let’s hope the two youngsters make a common wish on New Year’s Eve!
