Yet another actress is talking about possibly retiring from acting and focusing on her children and family – Nicole Kidman confessed at the world premiere of her latest film that she has other interests in life besides acting.

Kidman, 41, is mother to three children. Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, adopted during her 10-year marriage to Tom Cruise, and 4-month-old Sunday Rose with her country singer husband Keith Urban. The Australian actress, who has been very candid this past year about her yearning to have a child, said she “may just choose to have some more children.”
She also talked about her film choices, admitting she has “quirky taste” when it comes to choosing roles. She received an Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in “The Hours,” the 2002 adaptation of Michael Cunningham’s novel of the same name but has also played in films that fared less favorably at the box office in the meantime.
While her performances have mostly been praised by critics, films such as “Fur,” “The Invasion” and the more recent “the Golden Compass” and “Margot at the Wedding” did not take the box office by storm. Kidman said though that this is her body of work and that she does not feel the need to apologize for her options.
