Britney Spears Keeps Herself Busy As Jury Is Unable To Reach Verdict
No sign of worry showed on Britney Spears' face as she greeted her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James after school on Monday, despite her recent legal trouble, which might land her behind bars.

The pop singer was all smiles Monday afternoon when she was spotted picking up her little ones from preschool in Los Angeles.

When she's not spending time with her kids, Britney Spears is practicing with her dancers for her upcoming concert tour. The singer's official website got a major update yesterday with some pictures of Britney taken during rehearsals. The photos reveal a much slimmer Britney, who obviously worked incredibly hard to get back the body she had years ago.

Britney reportedly signed Wade Robson, the man behind her raunchy video "I’m a Slave 4 U," to choreograph her world tour. She will reportedly hit the road in March next year.

Until then, the singer is also rumored to be preparing for her first live performance in years in Bryant Park on "GMA" on Dec. 2 to promote her new album and single, "Womanizer." According to Page Six, "Everybody wanted her - she was the big get - but 'GMA' and ABC outfoxed the 'Today' and NBC." NBC suits are said to be "fuming" at losing her.

Meanwhile, the twelve jurors in Britney's driving-without-a-license trial, who started deliberations on Friday, were still "hopelessly deadlocked" Monday, after yet another day of discussions. Questioned by the judge after a third note, the foreman said the panel was split 10 to 2. He was instructed not to reveal whether the majority favored conviction or acquittal. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Steele asked the jurors to try resolving "whatever differences" they had, but the foremen said that with each return to the assembly room, "everyone becomes more entrenched in their position."

The misdemeanor charge stems from an incident last August in a parking lot when Britney was spotted by paparazzi as she hit a parked car before taking off. The singer, who originally faced hit-and-run charges, claims she did not have a Californian license because she planned to return to her home state of Louisiana. The three-day trial never introduced an image of her Louisiana license, which her attorney claims she had to surrender when she eventually got a California license after the incident.

Britney's dad, Jamie Spears, who testified last week, told the court that she had stayed in Los Angeles longer than anticipated because of her child custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Although the judge offered a plea bargain in the case, a year's probation and $150 fine, Britney's lawyer rejected it in an effort to avoid a criminal conviction on her record. The singer faces a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted of the misdemeanor charge.
