Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina Jolie have recently brought their six children to New York City for the first time since Jolie gave birth to the couple’s twins, Vivienne and Knox.

The reason for their return to the United States is Angelina Jolie’s latest movie, which she plans to promote at the New York Film Festival on October 4.

Jolie’s appearance on the red carpet for director Clint Eastwood’s „The Changeling” will account as her first one since she became mother of baby-twins.

In order to attend to the movie’s premiere, Brad Pitt had to skip the German premiere of his latest big-screen movie, “ Burn After Reading.” The latter, which is directed by Ethan and Joel Coen, revolves around a disk that contains the memoirs of CIA agent that ends up in the hands of two men who try to sell it.

Previous to their return to NY City, the couple and their six children have temporarily lived outside Berlin, where Pitt has been filming director Quentin Tarantino’s „Inglorious Bastards,” a World War II movie. Brad Pitt portrays Lt. Aldo Raine, the leader of a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" who decide to go on a Nazi-killing spree.

Angelina Jolie’s movie „The Changeling” features the actress in the role of  Christine Collins, a mother whose wish that her kidnapped son returns home becomes true, but only to give rise to further sorrow, since Collins comes to realize that the boy is not actually hers.
