The upcoming release from Sony Ericsson, the ultra-slim T700, will definitely find many fans with its set of premium features, designed to help users "stand out from the crowd." The company targets users interested in making a certain fashion statement with their mobile device and it also carefully prepared a series of functions to back up the phone’s luxurious look.
The T700 offers a self-portrait mirror, a helpful feature for those users who are "always well groomed and take pride in their appearance and possessions;" a high-quality 3.2 megapixel camera with easy-to-use Web uploads, an FM radio, a color-matched headset, access to Google Maps, stereo Bluetooth, media player, built-in stereo speakers, a complimentary 512 MB memory card and a generous 2-inch TFT display screen. Everything was neatly tucked in, in a case which is only 10 mm thin.
The Sony Ericsson T700 is a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and a UMTS/HSDPA 2100 MHz device.
“Sleek and shiny, the slim elegance of the T700 gives users a premium experience at a mid-range price point - perfect for the design conscious. Everyone who bought and adored the iconic T610 will be keen to get their hands on the new T700,” said Mr. Sven Totté, Head of Marketing for the design category at Sony Ericsson, on the company’s official Web site.
The device will be available during the fourth quarter of 2008, with several color variations such as Black on Silver, Shining Silver and Black on Red.
Sony Ericsson is continuously seeking new ways of pushing the mobile experience further, constantly releasing new devices. Another product recently released by the company, the W760i, also delivers many useful features and also benefits from a very attractive look.
