New Yorker Arrested For Baby Food Poisoning

The man who managed to cause a general panic through his video posted on YouTube, where he claimed to have poisoned a large number of baby food bottles, was arrested last week, ending the search efforts of the authorities.

In the video posted on the popular Web site on April 20, Anton Dunn, who New York City resident, said he wanted to kill as many black and Hispanic children as possible putting poison in the Gerber baby food bottles and he also expressed his firm belief that he will not get caught.

The Food and Drug Administration assisted the baby food producer in an extremely careful search and found nothing wrong with the products. Still, Anton Dunn is charged with falsely claiming to have meddled with a consumer product and also with sending threats in interstate commerce.

At this point it is uncertain whether the accusations will materialize only into some heavy fines or if the man will have to spend some time behind bars.

Several controversial issues concerning Mr. Dunn are also related to another two of his many video clips posted on the Web, in which he claims to have purposely infected close to 1,500 women with the AIDS virus and also to have killed two men.

Even though many consider his posts just sad effort to step up into the public’s eye and get his 15 minutes of fame, the authorities feel that it is better to be safe than sorry and will thoroughly investigate every one of his claims in order to make sure that if released, he does not pose a threat to anyone.
