There is a whole lot of drama in the Hogan household and daughter Brooke Hogan is trying to clear up what little she can by apologizing for allegations she made that dad Hulk abused mom Linda.

Hulk Hogan, wife Linda and children Brooke and Nick entertained viewers for a long on their VH1 reality series after which things fell apart.

Linda Hogan filed for divorce last year and news reports became nasty. Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, found out his marriage was ending after 24 years from a reporter.

There was worse to come and daughter Brooke, 20, apparently was caught up in the legal battle between her estranged parents.

The budding singer issued an apology this week, explaining that an affidavit she was rumored to have signed, accusing her father of verbally and physically abusing her mom during the marriage, was a mistake.

A statement issued exclusively to People.com says Brooke signed the legal affidavit “under significant pressure from my mother.” The 20-year-old goes on to say that after learning the facts she realized she had made “a big mistake” in signing it and that this was just another instance when Linda put a strain on their relationship.

Stating that she loves her mother and wishes “to one day reconcile with her,” Brooke comments that using “kids as pawns in a divorce is awful.”

“Every day my mother resorts to this kind of behavior makes it that much harder for us to ever have a relationship again.”

Brooke now lives with her father. At the time she signed the affidavit, apparently months ago, she was living with her mother and was upset with Hulk. She is currently not on speaking terms with her mother.

Linda, 48, filed for divorce last November. Her attorney told People at the time it was going to be “war.”

Neither parent’s attorney commented on this latest development of the story.
