Ethan Hawke and his spouse Ryan Shawhughes welcomed their daughter Clementine Jane Hawke last Friday into this world according to a report from the USmagazine.com.

The 37-year-old actor is a father for the third time. His representative Mara Buxbaum also confirmed the birth for People Magazine.

"They are thrilled," Buxbaum said when the news was first announced. A family member said it expects the two to be very good parents.

"They both love children, and they love each other ... I know they are thrilled."

Ethan Hawke married 28-year-old Ryan Shawhughes, who was nanny to his son and daughter with Uma Thurman, in June in a small ceremony in New York City. They confirmed the pregnancy back in January.

Hawke’s other two children are 10-year-old daughter Maya and 6-year-old son Levon with ex-wife Uma Thurman.

The Austin, Texas-native American actor, writer and film director is well known for staring in movies such as Dead Poets Society (considered Hawke's breakthrough), Before Sunrise, Gattaca, The Newton Boys, Great Expectations, and many other. In 2001, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Training Day, a movie in which Denzel Washington showed that he can play a bad guy just as good.
