Rollin Stones’ Guitarist Ronnie Wood Enters Rehab
According to the artist’s spokesman, Ronnie Wood has checked into rehab to fight his alcohol problems. According to Reuters, the same person said that "His close family and friends say he is seeking help and look forward to his recovery."

It seems that this time the artist entered rehab on his own initiative. Before the Rollin Stones’ 2002 tour, it was singer Mick Jagger and his wife, Jo Wood, who convinced him to do the same thing.

The guitarist’s decision might be linked to the tabloid speculations according to which he had been seen spending time at his house in Ireland with a Russian cocktail waitress. It was speculated that the alleged affair might damage the Rollin Stones star’s relation with his wife. He and Jo had been married for 23 years.

Ronnie Wood is not unfamiliar to addictions. His battle with alcohol is long known, but the guitarist had problems with cocaine earlier in his career. This led to Ronnie Wood having to suffer a surgical procedure at his nose in 1975.

Ronnie Wood knows to play multiple instruments like guitar, bass guitar, harmonica, drums and saxophone. He debuted as The Birds’ guitar player in the mid 60s, and he wrote almost half of that band’s songs. He became a member of the famous group Rolling Stones after playing guitar in Rod Stewart’s band, Faces.

Together with Keith Richards, the other guitarist of Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood created the ‘ancient art of weaving’ playing style, which consists of the two guitarists interchanging and blending their roles as lead and rhythm guitarists.
