Apparently, Hollywood too knows to stick together when the going gets tough…even if it’s for the wrong reasons. Actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright thought that their drunken mate was right and police were wrong…and they all ended up in jail..for some hours.
According to E! Online, police said that the actors were arrested Saturday morning in a bar outside Louisiana. Shreveport police arrested Josh Brolin, 40, Jeffrey Wright, 42, and 29-year-old Eric Felland, a lighting technician, along with other crew members, around 2 a.m. at the “Stray Cat” bar. The actors and the other men are colleagues as they are currently working on Oliver Stone’s film “W.”
Authorities informed that Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright interfered with police officers who had come at the bar because they were called there. Apparently their colleague Eric Felland was a little bit too intoxicated with alcohol and, when some workers from the bar asked him to leave, he refused. Also..the rest of the crew didn’t listen to the workers and forced them to call police. Felland was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest, authorities informed.
The other members of the “W” crew were taken into
custody and were charged with intervening in a police mission, which is a misdemeanor.

After he was taken into custody, Brolin gave police his driver’s license, a cell phone, a belt, a lighter and other objects. He was released from jail after posting a $334 cash bond and recovered his belongings.
The actor plays President Bush in “W” and Jeffrey Wright plays the part of Secretary of State Colin Powell. “W,” Oliver Stone’s third presidential movie, comes after “Nixon” and “JFK.” In the role of first lady Laura Bush is Elizabeth Banks and actress Thandie Newton plays Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. About the upcoming movie, Oliver Stone told Daily Variety that he intended to create “a fair, true portrait of the man.”
