According to FOX 9 News, Lona Donahue from
Lona Donahue's 13-year-old daughter, Elizabeth, and Aliyah
Vennemann, the other girl, were saved but Donahue didn't manage to get to shore.
Elizabeth Donahue said that they were not far into the water but the wave was very strong.
“We weren't even out that far, it was just a little bit
below my chest, and this big wave came and just pushed us out farther into the
water,” said
