Madonna's Marriage Still Being Ended by the Media
Madonna keeps saying her marriage to Guy Ritchie is fine and yet the media keeps expecting a divorce and is looking for any kind of telltale signs.

That a new character should have walked into the story, spicing up the rumors, is no surprise. Not only are Madonna and Guy Ritchie reportedly divorcing but now Madonna is allegedly having a relationship with Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.

Go figure.

Alex Rodriguez himself is also reportedly experiencing troubles in his marriage to Cynthia Scurtis. While he is supposed to be “friends” with Madonna, Cynthia Scurtis has made a “friend” of her own and one almost as impressive as the pop superstar.

She fled from New York to Paris over the weekend and spent time in the company of rocker Lenny Kravitz, a move which did not escape the quick eye of the paparazzi. Lenny Kravitz has already said nothing inappropriate went on.

Gossip regarding trouble in the Ritchie household has long been brewing but it got increasingly worse over the past couple of months, culminating with a recent report from the Times of London which claimed Madonna had already consulted an attorney in order to end her marriage to Guy Ritchie.

The Times said Madonna had had discussions with top British attorney Fiona Shackleton, employed by former Beatle Paul McCartney in his messy divorce from Heather Mills.

The paper also said Madonna and Guy Ritchie do not have a prenuptial agreement, which makes a 50-50 split of assets possible. Madonna’s wealth is estimated at a remarkable $600 million.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie are parents to three children: daughter Lourdes, 11, from a previous relationship of the singer’s; son Rocco, 7; and adopted son David Banda, 2.

The couple’s adoption of David, the little Malawi boy who has been living with the Ritchie family since late 2006, was made official in late May, when a judge in Malawi deemed Madonna and Guy Ritchie “perfect parents.”

Madonna’s representative, Liz Rosenberg, has said several times now that the couple has no plans to divorce.
