Alex Rodriguez And Wife Cynthia Face A Possible Split

Apparently Alex Rodriguez, the Yankee star, has separated from his wife Cynthia, a source told the Daily News. In the last three months, the couple has been having some problems and couldn’t work them out.

Evangeline Scurtis, Cynthia’s mother didn’t comment on her daughter’s relationship with Alex Rodriguez. The break-up news comes shortly after the media hurried to link Rodriguez to pop star Madonna. A-Rod was said to have been metting with Madonna. He didn’t comment the rumors.

What goes around comes around and the New York Daily News reported that Cynthia spent some time in Paris with Lenny Kravitz. Her mother firmly denied the gossip. Also Lenny Kravitz issued a statement Thursday, saying Cynthia was just a friend and she was there with “the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex's trainer, his wife and their baby girl,” adding that “she came here to escape from everything happening in New York City. I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer,” said Lenny Kravitz, according to The Associated Press.

Alex Rodriguez and Cynthia married in November 2002 and they had two children Natasha Alexander and Ella Alexander. Ella Alexander was born on April 21 and Alex Rodriguez was reported to have stayed with his wife only a day, after she gave birth.

In May 2007, Alex Rodriguez was photographed when he was entering a Toronto strip club, along with Joslyn Noel Morse. It is not sure if the couple would get divorced in the near future.

The New York Daily News reported that Madonna’s spokesperson said the singer and Alex Rodriguez were “just friends.”
