Monday, a man from
District Attorney Ken Magidson said that it was not decided whether the death penalty would be involved.
Sylvester said that he didn’t kill the children. He said he owed someone money and that was why that person killed his two children.
“I told the police, I told everybody that it was about the money. They (alleged killers) used it to get to my kids,” Sylvester told the Houston Chronicle. His attorney, Jimmy Ortiz gave no statement, so far.
Randy Sylvester Jr., 7, and Denim Sylvester were killed and their bodies were put in a wooden chest and a suitcase, which were left near a wood in Huston. This happened Saturday morning. The children’s mother reported them missing a week ago.
Sylvester lied about the location of the children in order to mislead authorities.
In the end, community activist Quanell X talked with Sylvester and police found out the children’s location. The children’s mother asked Quanell X to talk to Sylverster.
The autopsy results will be ready Monday night.
