Following their return from the charity ride in Canada, Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong were spotted in their way to see Iron Maiden, who were performing in Madison Garden Square, Celebrity-Gossip.net informs.
But, besides loud metal music, the couple also enjoys charity events. The two traveled together to Canada over the weekend, on a fund-raising bike, to help raise over $1 billion dollars for cancer research.
Armstrong started the charitable journey Saturday morning, in Waterloo, Ontario, accompanied by 40 local residents, who were eager to participate in the 117-kilometer “Ride With Lance” event. The donations were used for cancer treatment for two nearby hospitals: Grand River Hospital in Kitchener and Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, People magazine reports.
Before the race, Hudson and Armstrong, who has won the battle with testicular cancer in the past, enjoyed a romantic getaway together.
The couple spent a few days in Muskoka, a northern Ontario summer holiday enclave where Hudson’s mother Goldie Hawn owns a cabin.
After Saturday’s race, the two were present at a gala dinner at a country estate, where they were glad to pose for photos and talk to the other participants about their children and the approaching Father’s Day.
A day earlier, Hudson had been spotted as she took her 4-year-old son Ryder out for lunch and ice cream in Toronto’s Yorkville shopping district. She also spent some time with Lance’s children, Luke, who is eight years old, and twins Grace and Isabelle, who are six year old, while Armstrong was preparing for the race.
