The Lohan family, we have all learned by now, is an articulate and opinionated one. They also like to have their discussions (i. e. arguments) in public, so what more appropriate reaction from papa Lohan than to promptly criticize mama Lohan’s reality series?
Dina Lohan, mother and manager of Lindsay Lohan, up and coming musical star Ali Lohan, and non-entertainment attempters Cody and Michael, has her own reality series on E! Entertainment Television, which debuted last night.
Through “Living Lohan,” she and 14-year-old daughter Ali will show the world what the Lohan family is really made of and especially how Dina will help the youngster pave her way to celebrity as a singer.

Father Michael Lohan is no part of the show either, yet OK! magazine has found a niche for him in the whole affair by asking him to blog weekly, commenting on each episode.
Michael’s “unique” commentary to the May 26 episode titled “Mommy Will Fix It” is not seeping with tenderness and admiration. Beginning his message with a comment on “exploitation, hypocrisy and even deception,” the father of four attempts to move on from such horrid notions to observe that he is confused.
“Let’s just say I’m still trying to figure out if this show is about managing Ali’s career and being a “real” mother, or reading tabloids,” he writes, referring to Dina’s ferocious tracking of tabloid coverage of Lindsay.
He goes on to note that the most important thing his former wife can do is “set a good example by instilling positive values, and doing what’s right for the kid’s sake.”
Sour grapes, eh?
Dina has been adamant that she is doing the reality series for the sake of her family, which she insists is most important for her. That explains the gaudy context in which she mentions daughter Lindsay.
