Fur Coat Drama Continues as Lindsay Is Sued
That young lady that saw her very expensive fur coat adorn the slender figure of Lindsay Lohan has not recovered from shock yet. Although she has regained her treasured coat, she is suing the actress.

Masha Markova, 22, claims she went to New York City nightclub 1Oak in late January and left her $12,000 golden mink coat with the other partygoers’ garments, all in good faith. Lindsay Lohan, 21, attended the same bash.

To Markova’s surprise, her precious coat was nowhere to be found at the end of the party. She had probably been trying to come to terms with the loss of the expensive fur when serendipity struck and she found it.

Markova, a New York college student, told the New York Post earlier this year she had been turning the pages of a magazine the following month when she saw Lohan wearing her coat.

Markova has now apparently filed papers in Manhattan’s state Supreme Court, according to the Associated Press. She is asking for unspecified damages.

The college student has been taking the incident very badly. She is angry that her coat was astray for two whole weeks. According to media reports, when it was finally delivered to her, it smelled of cigarettes and alcohol and had a tear in its lining.

Markova has said she wants an apology from Lohan and some kind of compensation for unwillingly lending her mink fur.

Lohan is no stranger to lawsuits. In early April, a former bodyguard sued her for nonpayment, along with breach of oral contract, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and a variety of California state labor code violations.

Earlier this year, she settled a lawsuit with a busboy, who sued her last year after she smashed her car into his van as he was making an illegal U-turn.
