Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson has proven to the world she has the voice and charisma needed, despite being booted off “American Idol,” and is now ready to release her debut album.

She will also appear in “Winged Creatures,” a film based on the novel by Roy Freirich, alongside Kate Beckinsale, Forest Whitaker, Guy Pearce and Dakota Fanning, and in “The Secret Life of Bees,” with Queen Latifah and Dakota Fanning.
