Loni Anderson Weds Bob Flick

It seems that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were not the only one tying the knot this weekend. Fifteen years after divorcing Burt Reynolds, actress Loni Anderson and founding member of the folk group “The Brothers Four,” singer Bob Flick, exchanged nuptials in a private ceremony held on Saturday night.

The two of them met 45 years ago at a movie premiere in her native Minneapolis by the time she was a teenage model. A local newspaper had sent her out to pose with the group as the “lucky young fan.”

The photo was used Saturday night as the couple’s wedding poster, as Anderson’s publicist Cheryl Kagan told the Associated Press. Anderson and Flick, 69, dated for only six months by then. They reunited recently in Flick’s hometown and no later then January this year they announced their engagement.

It was the fourth marriage for Anderson, 62 after previously being wed to Ross Bickell, Bruce Hasselbeck and Burt Reynolds. Wearing a Monique LHuillier wedding gown, the “WKRP in Cincinnati” and “Nurses” star was given away by her son Quinton, whom she adopted with ex-husband Burt Reynolds. The ceremony was very private being attended by close friends and family.

Anderson expressed intentions to keep her maiden name.
