Drew Barrymore In West Hollywood Hit And Run
Actress Drew Barrymore was involved in a hit-and-run accident yesterday, followed by a chase of the motorist who took off after crashing into her car, celebrity gossip website TMZ.com reported.

The 33-year-old "Lucky You" actress was driving in West Hollywood just before noon Monday when she was rear-ended. She engaged in a chase of the reckless driver, but ended up losing him in the traffic after several miles. However, the star managed to at least get his license plate number for the police.

According to Sgt. Kristen Aloma of the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, no one was injured, while the hit-and-run motorist remained at large.

A Golden Globe nominee, Barrymore is best known for her parts in "Charlie's Angels," also starring Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu, "Never Been Kissed" and "50 First Dates." She can next be seen starring in the upcoming romantic comedy "She's Just Not That Into You."
