Amy Winehouse's 'Bond' Song Scrapped
British soul singer Amy Winehouse, who supposedly started working on a possible music theme for the upcoming "James Bond" movie, ditched the project since she is "not ready to record any music," her producer, Mark Ronson was quoted by the BBC as saying.

When asked by Sky News recently whether the theme for the next Bond movie "Quantum of Solace" would be made, the producer, who is responsible for the troubled singer's Grammy-winning "Back to Black" album, didn't have a very encouraging reply.

"I don't think so, unless by some miracle of science it gets recorded and someone sings a vocal on it so probably not," he told Sky News in an exclusive interview. "We did work on it but we never finished it so that's about it."

Winehouse and Ronson started collaborating on the track at Ronson’s studio in Henley, Oxfordshire, last month but their sessions soon deteriorated.

However, the 24-year-old singer, who gained notoriety for her erratic behavior due to drug abuse, and messy private live, snapped back at Ronson for his comments, claiming that artistic differences had resulted in the project being scrapped.

"Amy and the rest of the team are furious by what Ronson has said," a source close to Winehouse was quoted by The Mirror as saying.

"Amy wasn't happy with the finished product and let her feelings known. The whole things smacks of sour grapes. Amy is more than capable of working at the moment despite a turbulent few weeks. In fact, throwing herself into her music is very much an escape for her at the moment," the source added.

In the meantime, Winehouse's spokesman said that, “Mark presented a track to Amy, but she had other ideas about the direction it should take. We’re sure they will continue to make great music together."

It was just last week that Ronson told the BBC that he was hopeful their song would get used, even though aware he and Winehouse were probably in competition with "loads more really famous people" to write the song.

Most recently, Amy Winehouse made headlines after she was arrested and cautioned for assault after she slapped a man.
