“CSI” star Gary Dourdan was put under arrest for drugs possession, according to Access Hollywood.
The 41-year-old American actor - real name Robert Gary Durdin - widely known for portraying Warrick Brown on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was arrested in Palm Springs, Calif., on Monday and charged after a police officer found drugs in his car. The arrest took place on Monday at about 5:12 a.m.
According to the Palm Springs Police report, a police officer searched a car parked on the wrong side of the road. The officers said the driver was snoozing inside the vehicle.
The officer approached the car and found Dourdan “disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs,” police said according to Access Hollywood.
After waking up the driver, the police officer found the illegal substances inside the vehicle. Dourdan reportedly had heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription pills in the car.
Gary was booked at the Palm Springs Police Department and made $5,000 bail after five hours in custody, according to TMZ.com.
Before his role as Warrick Brown on CBS' "CSI", Dourdan was previously seen on Soul Food, A Different World and Alien: Resurrection. He is also set to play Thin Lizzy singer Phil Lynott, in a biographical film.
