Pop star Britney Spears will be joining once again the cast of US sitcom How I Met Your Mother for a second episode. She is going to reprise her role as Abby the secretary.
The episode will be filmed this week and a screening session has already been set for May 12.
The whole crew had a great time with the singer and co-creator Craig Thomas was quoted by BBC saying: "We're all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again.”
Her appearance in the March 24 episode managed to bring in front of their television sets an additional 3 million viewers, boosting the show to new heights.
Britney also appeared very enthusiastic about the environment on the set, describing the work on the show as “terrific.” She also received a lot of positive reviews for her acting, which came as a breath of fresh air after all the negative media attention from the past few years.
"How I Met Your Mother" stars Harris Radnor, Cobie Smulders, Alyson Hannigan and Jason Segel ("Forgetting Sarah Marshall") as an urban family of 20-something New Yorkers.
After numerous videos and TV appearances, Britney took a shot at the big screen in 2002 with her first lead role in the feature film Crossroads. The movie did not cause the expected hype and crashed at the box office. But in the light of the new positive feedback, she might consider giving it another shot in the future.
