Despite rife reports that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' marriage is on the rocks, the two appeared rather happy celebrating their daughter Suri's second birthday on April 18th, while sources close to the couple entirely dissed the breakup rumors.

Last year's birthday party for little Suri, when members of both the Cruise and Holmes clan gathered around for pizza at her parents' Los Angeles home, was definitely topped by this year's celebration: a small A-list party and dozens of presents, including the couple's new $30 million mansion, Suri will now have at her disposal for exploring.

Together with Tom's mom and sister as well Katie's parents, Suri and the group of adults took the first tour of her new home, which includes a tennis court and a huge pool. Tom also brought Connor and Isabel out of hiding to attend Suri's birthday party.

Colored balloons, a huge our-layer custom birthday cake and 24 little cakes for each party guest were delivered at the couple's home.

“Katie is so excited – she’s taking care of every detail. You can count on special things like individual place settings and festive bunting. And when Katie plans a party, she plans a party!” a source close to Katie revealed recently.

The bash comes amid a mass of speculation that Katie, 29, is seeking some time away from Tom, and plants to take Suri and move to New York for a while.

According to a an In Touch magazine report, an insider revealed that Katie was moving to Manhattan to pursue her acting ambitions on Broadway.

"Of course, Katie still loves him (Tom), but she does often feel like the little wife that has to sit there quietly and smile serenely at everything he says," it said.

Star magazine's story cited some unnamed sources saying, "She desperately needs to be on her own for a while, but there's no way Tom is going to let her take Suri away."

Daily Mail also published a report claiming Tom forbid Katie to see some of her Hollywood friends, including Victoria Beckham, because he believes she has a negative influence on her, especially on her attitude towards her own body. Katie has lost a visible amount of weight over the past several months, and source claimed she is following Victoria's 1000 calories/day diet.

However, reps for the couple insist that the story is not true, and that their relationship remains stable and loving. "She and her husband enjoy a close and loving relationship," Contactmusic quoted the rep, as saying. Tom and Katie will soon be celebrating three-year anniversary of their first date. The two got married during a lavish ceremony in a small Italian town last summer.
