Marilyn Monroe’s Secret Sex Film Sold for $1.5M
The recording of Marilyn Monroe engaging in oral sex was purchased for $1.5 million by a New York businessman, who intends to keep the 15-minute, 16mm film secret, a man familiar with the deal said on Monday.

Memorabilia collector Keya Morgan, who brokered the sale, provided some details about the deal. According to his sayings, the silent, black-and-white film which was in the possession of the son of a dead FBI informant was sold to a Manhattan businessman.

"The gentleman who bought it said out respect for Marilyn he's not going to make a joke of it and put it on the Internet and try to exploit her," said Morgan according to Reuters.

"That's not his intention and I would never get my name involved if that were to happen."

"He said, 'I'm not going to make a Paris Hilton out of her. I'm not going to sell it, out of respect,'" Morgan told the paper about the buyer.

The short film, which is "an illicit copy" according to The New York Post, was reportedly recorded in the 1950s and shows the blonde actress on her knees and engaging in oral sex with an unidentified man. Monroe is with her clothes on in the film and the man’s face is cut from the frame for the entire 15 minutes, said Morgan who watched it.

Marilyn Monroe is well known for her rumored affair with the U.S. President John F. Kennedy. The film might be the result of the huge efforts made by then FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, a big Kennedy rival, to prove the affair between the two was real.

Famous baseball player Joe DiMaggio, who was wed to Monroe, tried to purchase the movie from the collector and offered $25,000 for it, but without success, according to FBI files on Monroe that are available on the FBI Web site. Monroe was also married to Jim Dougherty and Arthur Miller.

Morgan told The New York Post that declassified documents of the CIA showed that the film came to light in the mid-60s and the FBI director and his staff tried to prove that the man Monroe was pleasuring in the film was John F. Kennedy or his brother Robert F. Kennedy.

Morgan, a friend with Monroe's three husbands, said he find out about the film during his work at a documentary about Monroe. A former FBI agent informed Morgan about it and he tracked down the son of the FBI informant in Washington, DC. The son of the former FBI agent had made a copy before the FBI confiscated the footage.

The copy of the "French-type" film, as Morgan described it, was actually sold last month. The footage "exhibited (to agents) a motion picture which depicted deceased actress Marilyn Monroe committing a perverted act upon an unknown male", said Morgan for the NY paper.

"You see instantly that it's Marilyn Monroe - she has the famous mole," Morgan told The NY Post. He also used words like “very charming” and “very radiant” to describe the way Monroe looks in the short film.
