Naomi Campbell Arrested For Assault At London Airport
Looks like British supermodel Naomi Campbell is still having some serious anger management issues and was arrested at London's Heathrow airport on Thursday, for allegedly assaulting a police officer.

"At 1711 police were called after a disturbance at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5," a police source said.

"A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and is currently in detention at Heathrow police station," he added.

According to reports, the supermodel, who was on a British Airways flight due to depart for Los Angeles, was cuffed and escorted off the plane after getting into a row with the staff when she noticed one of her three carry-on bags went missing. However, her angry ranting didn't cease and she was taken into custody at the airport's Terminal 5 after she got physical with a police officer and supposedly spit on him.

Witnesses said they heard Campbell scream "get off me, leave me alone" as she was taken to the Heathrow police station.

The supermodel is known for her violent outbursts, for which she reportedly blames her father, who abandoned her as a child, and has a long record of abusing her staff, including maids and assistants.

In 1998 while filming in Toronto, Campbell's assistant accused her of beating and causing bodily injury during the filming of a movie. The model pleaded guilty to the charges.

In 2000 she was ordered to attend anger management classes after admitting to assaulting her personal assistant with a mobile phone.

In 2003, she was sued by a former administrative assistant who alleged that Campbell threw a phone at her while the two were engaged in a heated argument two years earlier.

In 2004, things became heated between the model and her maid, who claimed that she was slapped across the face by Campbell, who refuted and said the maid instigated the whole thing.

In January 2007, Campbell pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault for throwing her mobile phone at her maid in a dispute over a missing pair of jeans. She was sentenced to five days of community service in New York, which included floor mopping and toilet cleaning.
