Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Offspring in First Photo Shoot

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are ready to present their twin babies to the world. Emme and Max were photographed by People magazine exclusively and are featured in this week’s issue.

People magazine is bubbling with joy to be the first to offer photographs of Emme and MX, born Feb. 22, in Long Island, New York, with their very famous parents Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.

Go to the nearest newsstand Friday to get your own copy, which contains 12 pages of new photos with the happy family inside their Long Island home and nursery.

Aside from the photos, Jennifer and Marc were also willing to tell People about the pregnancy, “addressing everything from Jennifer’s weight gain to rumors of infertility.”

Jennifer gave birth to her two babies on Feb. 22. Emme was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz.; Max was born at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs. A week later, Lopez’s manager Simon Fields officially confirmed the babies’ names to People magazine as Emme and Max.

The twins are the first children for Lopez, 38, and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, 39.

The couple kept the pregnancy a secret for as long as they could, sharing the happy news only during the last concert of the joint tour they went on last year. They were on stage in Miami when the singer/actress told the crowd she and Marc were expecting a baby.

Speculation regarding Lopez’s uncharacteristically flowing outfits and low heels had long been milling. It helped when fashion designer Roberto Cavalli let the cat out of the bag, candidly confirming the singer was expecting.

“Well Jennifer Lopez, at this moment, she requests something very special because she is waiting for the baby,” he told People magazine last year. “It is so complicated because every week she is getting bigger,” he added.

Lopez poked fun at herself, later telling Harper’s Bazaar: “I kind of feel like everybody knew anyway. I was on tour with a bubble gut!”
