Justin Timberlake made sure his witty speech at the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony wouldn't go unnoticed.
Playful as always, Timberlake couldn't help joking about former flame Britney Spears while introducing Madonna at the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in New York on Monday night.
"The world has always been full of Madonna wannabes and I might have even dated a couple," Timberlake quipped.
"She [Madona] has still found time to kiss someone I may or may not have publicly kissed myself. Of course you know I was talking about Sean Penn," he added.
Timberlake and Spears dated for four years before splitting up in 2002, but apparently, he is still playing the "B" card every chance he gets.
And just to spice things up a little more, Timberlake recalled how the 49-year-old Material Mom once ordered him to drop his pants so she could give him a vitamin B12 shot while working together on the pop singer's latest album "Hard Candy."
"People always ask if she is the control freak people say she is. Hell yeah! We had a recording session in London and I wasn't feeling well. She said: 'Would you like a B12 shot?' She reached into her handbag, pulled a ziplock bag of B12 syringes and says: 'Drop 'em.' I don't know what you say to that, so I dropped my pants," Timberlake said.
"She gave me the shot in my a--. It was one of the greatest days of my life. That is what Madonna will always be to us. The shot in the a-- when we really need it."
Madonna shot back during her speech, telling Timberlake, "I'm gonna get you!" and admitting that "Everything he said is basically true, but I didn't say 'drop 'em,' I said, 'pull your pants down.' I like to be accurate because you know I am a control freak."
She then went on thanking those who helped her succeed in the music industry, and she admitted to past drug use.
