According to the police officials, Barron Hilton, who is 18 years-old, was pulled over on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.  E! Online said a concerned driver tipped the police forces about Barron Hilton’s reckless driving.

There are also various unconfirmed reports claiming that before being pulled over by the police, the young Hilton was involved in an accident at a gas station.

Barron, who was driving a black Mercedes, has a blood-alcohol level of 1.4, way over the legal limit of 0.8 for a 21 year person.

However, according to the Californian laws which stipulates that no alcohol-level is admitted for a driver under 21, Barron Hilton was considered legally drunk. Currently, Barron is held at the Lost Hills Sheriff’s station on $5,000 bail.

Paris Hilton issued a statement about the incident for PageSix.com. "I am sad for my little brother. I hear he is doing OK. I am there for him and will be speaking to him in an hour or so, hopefully, to lend my support," she said.

Last year in June, Paris Hilton spent three and a half weeks in jail for breaking the terms of her probation for drunk driving.
