“We’re not going to stop until we find you and put you in a
cage where you belong. There’s a special place in hell for you and we’re going
to see that you get there,” said Marion County, Ind., Sheriff Frank Anderson
according to the local newspaper Indianapolis Star.
The victims were identified as 23-moth-old Jordan Hunt, his
mother, 24-year-old Gina Hunt, 24-year-old Andrea Yarrell and her daughter,
Charlii Yarrell. The little girl died later. The women were shot while holding
their babies in their arms, police said.
Lesley Yarrell, Andrea’s father expressed his grief at
losing the babies. “My heart is gone. Those were my babies,” he said in tears,
according to the same newspaper. Andrea was reportedly talking to her boyfriend
on the phone when the attackers entered the home, the Indianapolis Star wrote.
No suspect was identified by late Tuesday, police said. Sheriff
Anderson asked the public to help police find the killers and vowed to track
them down “like dogs.” Police just found drugs, guns and a safe in the home. Two
handguns were also discovered within a block of the home.
Police first received a report of people breaking into a nearby vacant home and were called a short time later about shots being fired.
