According to police, a car crashed into a fuel truck on

Apparently the police was chasing the driver when the latter lost control of the vehicle, according to CNN.
The police spokesman said that they didn’t believe that terrorists were involved.
For hours the firefighters struggled to put out the fire.
The accident came a day later after the fuel ship explosion.
According to Nigerian authorities, the two accidents were not related.
The responsibility for that explosion was claimed by a rebel group, Voice of America reports.
The rebel Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta was involved in many attacks on the property of the oil company in last year. It has also carried out many kidnappings among foreign oil workers. They’ve sworn that they will carry attacks against pipelines, platforms, and workers.
It was believed that most of the victims were street vendors and workers from the site of the tanker. Some 15 vehicles were damaged, according to police, but nobody was wounded.
Over 200 foreign workers were kidnapped last year by insurgents in the country.
