And the award goes to… Victoria Beckham, for the worst dressed woman in 2007!

Fashion critic Richard Blackwell released Tuesday his 48th Annual Worst Dressed Women List, in which he placed Posh Spice at the head of his list.

He stated: "Forget the fashion spice, wearing a skirt would suffice! In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty 'Posh' can really wreck-em," New York Daily News informs.

Well, that’s not very posh!

Posh Spice was No. 1 of his worst dressed list also in 1998. Blackwell said then about Spice Girls that the group is "the only spices on the planet that have no taste."

Blackwell started his list in 1960 when he was designing dresses for the rich and famous. This year his targets were mainly stars from the music business.

Second place was taken by Amy Winehouse, British singer known more for her high hair than her vocal abilities.

Blackwell described her as: “Exploding beehives above…tacky polka dots below…she's part '50s carhop horror.”

At number three was Mary-Kate Olsen, who along with her sister launched a clothing line last year. Blackwell had to say about her that "She resembles a tattered toothpick trapped in a hurricane."

Fergie occupied the fourth place in the top ten. Blackwell said that she is “couture chaos.”

Kelly Clarkson came in fifth rounding the top five.

The other stars which occupied the top ten list were French actress Eva Green, singers Avril Lavigne and Jessica Simpson, actress Lindsay Lohan and Alison Arngrim.

Regarding Lavigne’s style Blackwell said that she looks like she was dressed “by the house of Dracula.”

The on/off rehab actress Lindsay Lohan apparently didn’t satisfy fashion critic, accusing her for “tak[ing] fashion to a new low,” eonline.com reports.

Blackwell decided to skip Britney Spears from this year’s list saying that he felt it was inappropriate to make any comments “when her personal life is in such upheaval."

He said: "I hope 2008 is a better year for her."

Also another star that was not on Blacwell’s list was Paris Hilton, who along with Britney shared the top spot in 2007.
