Britney Spears does not let the paparazzi rest too much, offering
them and the tabloids they work for picture after picture and headline after
headline.
The pop singer seems to have had another troubled night on
Monday, this time involving her car, a white Mercedes. The car was impounded by
cops around 8 p.m. after she left it on Sunset Boulevard where she was told
that she had a flat tire, Lt. David Grimes of the Los Angeles Police
Department,
Fearing that the car might block the traffic on the roadway,
the cops impounded the car being helped by a private company “that’s contracted
with the city,” Grimes further added.
As for Britney, she and her assistant Carla were given a
lift by a paparazzo that was following her in the moment of the unfortunate
event.
Now she has to get back her car from the Quicksilver Towing,
after she will have paid a $104 towing fee and $32 for each day the car remains
in the tow yard. If left there more than 30 days, the rules impose to put the
car up for auction, according to an employee cited by People.
However, Grimes stated that Britney would not be either fined or get any citations, thank God.
