Holiday Season with Medical Problems for Eminem
Holiday season was not a time of happiness for hip-hop star Eminem as he was rushed to hospital over Christmas suffering from a serious heart condition and severe pneumonia.

TMZ.com reported on Tuesday that Eminem was taken to an unnamed Detroit-area hospital. Eminem’ weight has ballooned to over 200 lbs.

“Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, p.k.a. Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia. He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home,” told Eminem’s representative for TMZ website.
Despite his serious condition, Eminem has been released and he is now recovering at home, his publicist added.

Eminem kept himself out of the public life since his latest official mixtape “The Re-Up” was released in December of 2006 by his Shady Records. On a live intervention, dated on September 12, during radio host Angie Martinez’s afternoon show on New York’s Hot 97, while he was interviewing 50 Cent, he was uncertain about the time when and if he would be putting out a new LP.

“It feels good right now, the energy of the label. For a while, I don't wanna go back to the negative stuff. ... Going through some personal things, coming out of those personal things, it feels good,” he said at the time.
