The accident happened appreciatively at 4:15 a.m., when the
vehicle, traveling east, slid sideways into the Jamaica-bound No. 6 Bus from the
Metropolitan Transportation Authority Long Island at
The car’s driver, Christopher Boyd, 23, and his friend Eric
Richmond, 25, both of

The bus’ driver, 39, and a passenger, 24, suffered minor
injuries and were taken to
Boyd’s stepmother, Wendi Boyd, who raised him since he was
4, said the car was a Christmas gift from her and his father.
“He was so happy with the car. It was going to be something
good for him to have,” she said through tears, Newsday reported.
According to witnesses, the car was traveling at high speed before it collided with the MTA bus.
