Britney Spears’ 16-year-old knocked-out sister won’t be making a comeback Friday on Nickelodeon show "Zoey 101," it has been reported.
"Nickelodeon bosses are still undecided whether to air season four or not. For now, it looks like it has been canned," a source explained.
Although Jamie Lynn Spears already wrapped up the shooting for the fourth and final season of kid’s show "Zoey 101," the recent announcement of her pregnancy cast doubt upon TV bosses who are now worried they might be sending out the wrong message to the young audience, by continuing to air the series.
The network was initially very supportive of Jamie Lynn who broke the baby news last month, and released a statement saying, "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's wellbeing."
In the meantime, Jamie Lynn became the biggest selling cover star in the history of OK! magazine in the U.S. selling over 2 million copies of the issue revealing that she’s expecting her first baby with long-term boyfriend Casey Aldridge.
The mom-to-be is gracing the cover of OK! for the second week in a row, with a story focusing on the Spears family and all the rumors revolving around Jamie Lynn and her boyfriend, as well who’s going to be raising the child.
According to an insider, although shocked and upset at first, Jamie Lynn’s mom will be giving her daughter all the help she needs.
"Jamie Lynn loves her mom dearly. She thinks Lynne has been a sensational mom, and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about," another source claimed.
While some reports claimed that Jamie Lynn’s father was very disturbed by the news, he’s came to his senses and will be every bit as attentive to Jamie Lynn’s child as he is Britney’s babies, Sean Preston and Jayden James, whom he adores.
And finally, a former member of the Spears family, Britney’s ex-hubby, Kevin Federline, who currently holds the custody of the two kids he and Britney have together, has also come to aid of Jamie Lynn.
"Kevin has long thought of Jamie Lynn as a little sister" a Federline family member told the magazine.
"He was heartbroken because he was concerned about what it would mean for Jamie Lynn's future… He just wants to be part of the support system."
