Donald Trump will launch tonight his seventh season of the NBC show “The Apprentice.”
This edition is packed with celebrities who will have the “pleasure” of hearing Trump saying “You’re fired”. “The Celebrity Apprentice” will open tonight at 8.
At a conference call Donald Trump told reporters that this season is “the best ‘Apprentice’ we’ve done, and that includes ‘Apprentice’ No. 1, which actually became, for many weeks, the No. 1 show on television,” BostonHerald.com informs.
The first seasons of “The Apprentice” were about a group of young entrepreneurs who were put to different tasks in order to win. Those seasons were hits for the network, but gradually ratings declined when the show was moved Sunday nights.
In order to regain ratings changes were made and now we have “The Celebrity Apprentice.”
In the seventh season we have 14 celebrities: Carol Alt, Stephen Baldwin, Nadia Comaneci, country music star Trace Adkins, mixed martial arts fighter Tito Ortiz, Nely Galan, Marilu Henner, Lennox Lewis, former contestant Omarosa, Piers Morgan, Tiffany Fallon, Jennie Finch, Vincent Pastore and KISS lead singer Gene Simmons who will have to pass through some challenges. At the end of the show the celebrity who wins can donate $1 million to any charity he or she wants, Houston Chronicle reports.
One celebrity at a time will get fired by business mogul Donald Trump every week.
Trump said: “For every person we took, we turned down five. Now there were a few that really wanted to be on the show, but they didn’t want to be fired. I mean, I could name a couple that are really good.”
Similar with the other shows, the contestants lived together,

This edition the winning team will get to see Trump fire someone in a room named “The War Room”
Trump said that in this season the hatred among the contestants is “unbelievable.”
“The level of the spirit and viciousness, even, was just unbelievable . . . and I realized that each one of these folks has a big reputation to protect and a big brand to protect,” Trump said.
