Jamie-Lynn Cashes In $1 Million For Exclusive Baby Photo Shoot

Not long after the news on Jamie-Lynn Spears’ pregnancy came out, OK! magazine reportedly agreed to a $1 million dollar deal for exclusive pictures of the Spears baby. The OK! magazine, which already had exclusive access to Britney’s little sister’s story, reportedly convinced Jamie Lynn to pose for them after her mom, Lynne, kept in touch with them following the interview.

According to TMZ.com, a family insider said “Jamie’s mom Lynne contacted OK! Personally after they ran the story on Britney’s meltdown while posing for a photo shoot with them. She thanked them for handling it so well and stayed in touch with the magazine.”

According to the same source, mom and daughter did not want the money for the photo shoot, but OK! Magazine agreed to pay up to $1 million when the child is born. The approximate date for the photo shoot is hard to tell, but TMZ says miss Spears could be further along than the 12 weeks she announced, and we might even expect a “spring baby”.

How about the father of Jamie-Lynn? Reportedly he is nothing but angry with his wife and daughter’s decision to cash in on their teen-aged daughter pregnancy. However, his reasons could be misleading. Reuters quotes an anonymous source, saying: “He doesn’t get a dime from his daughters”, which is not the case for Britney’s mom, who has her share of her daughter’s earnings.

If Jamie-Lynn was “shocked” when finding out she was pregnant, “it was a shock for both of us, so unexpected. I was in complete and total shock and so was he,” Britney was ‘the last to know’ apparently, as her younger sister decided to confess the pregnancy only to her mom…and OK! magazine. Later on, Britney released a statement saying that she was “aware of the news regarding Jamie-Lynn’s pregnancy” and that she “wishes her sister nothing but the best” while asking for privacy during this period.
